Oh them....don't even waste your time....they won't listen. There have been a number of raw lists owners who have appealed to this "person " about this vegan diets for carnivores. They won't listen, they just show you their pets and tell you that it's working for them. Why not the HSU also has a vegetarian kibble that it sells . It's the big thing...veggies for carnivores. People are falling for it and pets are dying. He's making his money, he doesn't really care. If you want to write him go ahead. Keep it to logic, don't get profane or frustrated. They want that, then they just publish your rants and show everyone the "uneducated" people who feed their animals other animals ciao

Some people just take being a vegan too far. I'm a vegetarian and I would never in a million years make my carnivore pets eat something they are not supposed to.

It's all about the money, unfortunately. I did send an email, although I don't expect any reaction. Simply sent a link describing what an "obligate carnivore" was

FERRET PASTA!? What we ought to do is have owners of insulinoma ferrets shoot him a vid of their baby in the midst of a grande mal seizure, 'cause that's what he's doing to the ferrets of anyone ignorant enough to buy that crap. Maybe they're secretly affiliated with Marshalls... people like that just make me want to beat the crap outta them...

As frustrating as it is, like Heather said- he's not going to listen, since he's making his cash. And quite frankly, he truly doesn't care. So video's, etc. won't make a bit of difference. Instead, spend your time trying to educate people about what a carnivore really is.

Of course their products will kill a ferret faster than they will a cat, but I googled it and apparently people who thought they could feed this to their cats have ended up paying thousands of dollars in vet bills when all of their cats get crystals or start starving themselves to death at once. In a vegen forum I googled, at least five different owners had their cats die after eating this food for 3-6 months. Granted some where older, and one was diabetic, but still that's even more reason why they should be eating this crap one owner said one of here perfectly healthy cats, a younger one, became very thin and died on her pillow after about a year of feeding this. I find it hard to blame just the company, after these owners should realize that cats, like ferrets need meat, they're carnivores, and if they weren't sure they should have asked their vets. Even more sup rising is that is food is actually legal to sell when it's pretty much death in a bag. www.veganrepresent.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6748This is the forum I mentioned, it terrible

someone fed their animals for TWO YEARS knowing it was causing problems... i dont see how you do that? i feel like that should be animal cruelty, knowing something is causing problems and letting your pets suffer anyhow because of some other "ethical" reason. its not ethical to cause utis and starve your animals

No, it isn't ethical. But unfortunately people can be so very willfully blind. And there is nothing you can do to change their minds. If, however, you actually SEE someone doing this, you could likely call your local rescue to investigate.

i feel like there is no validation in harming an animal to "save" another animal

OMG!!! this guy is so absolutely horrendously arrogant and self-rightous!!!
i was asked to check this diet out...looked at the site - was absolutely horrified to see a vegan diet being recommend for obligate carnivores and carnivores.
i made a simple inquiry asking for some clarifications. received a somewhat civil response...replied explaining that ferrets are obligate carnivores.
received such an insulting response full of recriminations about me and that i don't care about animals! and that's the least of what he said.
shot off another response and have received numerous emails since - insults, non-funny stories, lists of quotes, more personal attacks.
the guy is an absolute nut-case!!
