I'm glad that it was just fur regrowth. Considering her spinal injuries, I was concerned that it could very possibly be a circulation issue. I'm so happy that it's not. ciao

When monster had a blue belly I was scared he was bleeding out from adrenal disease or something. Thought it might be the end of the road for my baby boy.

Well, I sent Tommy an email to see how Ferry was doing. Here's his reply:
Sorry for disappearing! Had quite a few changes to my personal life.
I'm currently in Singapore and Ferry has gone to the countryside to stay with my in-laws. She's really enjoying it! Taking walks by the river everyday. I think she has reached a plateau with her recovery and is unlikely to get any better. She walks well and fast on grass, can't hop or bounce and can finally pass urine by herself but only if she is running around. I think she has sustained a permanent nerve damage.
Thanks for checking in!
Tommy

Thank you sherrylynne for the update. I'm glad that Ferry is still enjoying life. It is tragic that she has suffered permanent nerve damage but...absolutely fantastic that she has got such an enjoyable life and her progress now allows her to enjoy life more than ever thought possible. It's a real kudo to Tommy to have managed to get her this far. It goes to show you what can happen when you reach out for help and go the extra mile for our little furbabies (special thanks to all those that helped Tommy with this little one, your combined information made this possible). ciao
