Vet visits.. Good point. Its not so nice caring that heavy thing around in a vets office. Hmm!

These are really darling!!! Here's a warning...If you have super bratty ferrets like mine, I recommend sticking with a regular carrier. I had (past tense) a very well made soft carrier, and my brats ripped their way out of it (destroyed it) before they even got in to their apointment...I had to borrow a carier from my vet to get hem home Thankll, they did not do this while I was driving!!!!! -jennifer

Last summer our local Ferret Club posted a warning about some of the designer carriers on the market these days - they don't have as much ventilation as the old fashioned kind! In these hot, humid summer months, a ferret can quickly overheat. So be careful, and be sure that your ferret has adequate air supply, cooling methods, and water.

I was able to get a free carrier and it has vents on 3 sides. The ferrets LOVE it!

Mine is kinda over sized and has 2 large vents on the sides and one on the top.
