I think a feeding den would work well especially since they are already used to eating out of a container.
Not sure about the yellow, my white ones were yellow only when on kibble,

Feeding dens: I know almost nothing about them, I dont use them. I would post a feeding den question in the general section and see what people who use them have to say.
Organ day: That sounds good. I cant honestly tell you how much liver to feed. I have two that will eat a liver each and the rest of them only eat liver if it is in their whole prey

Ok, I will post a qustion. Abour liver, I was just wondering if one liver is ebough or too much. can you get plain chicken hearts? I didnt see any, and they need it. they have gizzard-hearts, but there was only one heart, but then again I cannot tell them apart really well, it was just a tubey thingy. I need to go shopping, so yeatsterday they got pork neck, today some leftover organs, I should be in to the store soon. Is ground beef and turkey ok? because all the steak is soo much $$$$$ So I need to go easy on it. Or for the turkey, would wings be ok? they have legs too, but they are enourmus! also, when snickers was a baby, and when I (finaly!) got him at 6 months, he has no blaze, but now he does!!! it is cute, but is it normal?

Ok what kind of liver are you feeding? I would say that you should try to feed one liver per ferret, if they eat it. We get the Gizzard-hearts combo too and there are more hearts in there then you would think. The gizzards are the flappy things and the hearts are the other things in there, they are kinda tubular, circular hard things.
Is ground beef and turkey ok? because all the steak is soo much $$$$$ Feeding ground meat is ok as a treat. But you do not want to feed it often as it does nothing for their teeth. YOu do not have to feed steak, you can feed beef cubes( I can get them here for a few dollars a pound and its a few meals) ox tails which are usally $2-3 for 6-8 of them, again this is a few meals.
Or for the turkey, would wings be ok? they have legs too, but they are enourmus! I feed both turkey wings and legs. For each of these I cut them apart into 2inch or so chunks and feed those.
I am not sure about the blaze part, I would ask around in the general forum.
And not matter what you think you are not bothering me. Sorry i didnt get back to you sooner I was on the phone most of yesterday becuase my internet was out and no one could figure out why.
And please if need be feed them kibble as opposed to not feeding them at all, no one on here will think any less of you. We all know that money can be tight at times.

Ok, I just came back from the store, I got chicken legs, turkey wings, and some stewing beef . Right now they are eating the beef and a Turkey wing. I gave them way too much, so there will be extra to be frozen. So I am really getting more confident about their diet. but there is NO place around here that has chicken hearts. Only liver, but there is beef liver too. and the ONLY organ besides liver are gizzards, because ther is only one heart per gizzard-heart package. So should they simply get a tourane supplement? Or what should I do? I did not see any beef cubes, but there was stewing beef. I got that. but it was almost 5 dollars a pound, luck for my I only got about a dollar worth of them But they are not liking the beef right now. they are devouring the wing though.

Sometimes it will take a ferret a while to get used to new foods ( like beef) sometimes they will never eat it. I have one ferret who will not touch beef at all, ever.
Im not sure what to tell you about suppletments, I do not use them but lets see if we can find someone else around here who does and can help you with that. ( Post the question in the general food question section or contact one of the other mentors).
I dont see a problem with feeding Kidney. We just need to find you some more hearts.

Sorry I didnt respond yesterday they have been working on the internet lines here and what a mess Anyway mice are great and with mice you dont have to worry about having organ day since everything is in the mouse. I feed live mice as a treat every few months but mine mostly get the frozen ones. (I feel bad for the live mice ) And there is nothing wrong with being happy that your babies are eating healthy.

Thats OK. I understand Yesterday was a chicken leg. They have been getting 2 different meats a week. like one week pork and chicken, the next turkey and chicken and beef etc. is that OK? I have to pay for it, so I get whats cheap-on sale. And about organs, only liver, but I am gonna try and get frozen peachie pinkies for them soon. Oh, just to ask why does photo bucket ask for SO much personal info? can I just use shutterfly?
