Alrighty! Looks great! I'll be sure to PM Heather tomorrow unless you want some more time. Do you feel comfortable right now feeding raw? If not we'll take some more time to see how the schedule works out :]!

Ok, one thing is it possible for you to add some wings to their schedule? How much do they eat of the leg bone? Thanks and sorry I keep bombarding you with questions!

I'm pretty comfortable feeding raw now. They do have chicken wings as part of their schedule, but I could sub a legmeat night for one more wing night if you want, no problem. They usually eat most of it, including the thigh bones guess (you know, the other part that isn't the drumbstick). i'll usually have to remove the large end part and that's it.

Oops didn't see the one wing day. I think if you fit in one more wing day you'll be good! Necks also work really well!

That was just this week because I accidentally bought a little bit too much legmeat. I'm still getting used to buying their food so.. yeah. That's really the only issue I'm having so far.

Yep, yep! It does take some time. How about we take one more week to see how the scheduling goes? And I can help you in case you have any questions on buying. You're doing a great job!

Well, how much should I be asking for? Usually I ask for a couple pieces of legmeat (I think I got 3 pieces this time because i was thinking, oh, 3 days, but I didn't realize that they also come with the other part of the day, stretching it out to at least 4-5 days of food), a half (or quarter) pound of liver [small piece], a pound of chicken wings (which is several, I suppose I could just ask for 6 or so of them), one piece of beef shank (for them to share), and one piece of pork (for them to share). What are your usual amounts?

When I was buying whole raw food, I would buy a monthly supply. With my two ferrets they went thru 2 legs a day (1 per ferret), 2-3 wings a day, 2-3 pieces of liver per ferret, and around 5 oz. of meat per ferret I believe. Hope that makes sense :]!

OK! I went out and got a bunch of food. I plan on freezing some of it, but they were having a sale! $0.99/lb for breasts/legs/thighs, $1.40? or something for london broil... I gotta pick up some pork from another store, theirs was a bit too expensive for me atm beef liver in the morning today, some chicken for tonight. so: Wednesday: Cut up chicken drumstick in the morning, beef liver at night Thursday: Beef liver in the morning, chicken thighs

Is the london broil seasoned or cooked? Sorry I've never heard of it, lol! Looks good! Also if you're splitting the liver over the course of a couple days make sure to give smaller amounts.

Yes, that's what I've been doing, smaller meals at night and then in the morning because I notice the liver "spoils" quicker,... just gets kinda icky on the outside and they dont usually eat it, lol. So I give them less. I looked up london broil on wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_broil"...the cut of meat traditionally used is flank steak, but top round roast/steak is also commonly used." It's just boneless beef. I buy it for myself all the time =P Just gonna cut off a chunk for them and cook the rest for myself :3 lol

Alrighty sounds good! Just wanted to make sure it wasn't seasoned, lol! Yeah liver seems to spoil easier! Well keep at it and let me know if you have any questions!
