Sorry, I wasn't implying pushing I just make sure to let you guys know so you don't think I am frustrated or upset. Mischief reminds me of Arte (but older) in case history. Parvaid is a great natural equivilent to pedialyte-less chemicals. . .I had to soak Arte's blood juice (the drippings from his CGH) in it to keep him hydrated. What ground rabbit product did you end up using? I have a NV vendor here-I just haven't given it a try since it is soooo pricey (and since we have a friend that is getting his rabbit business up and running right now, 2 months and we have rabbit!) What is the dosing of slippery elm powder in mg/kg? I have not seen it in powder form in our natural pharmacy in town. Do you think the tastless benefiber would be a good option for Garrison if he refuses pumpkin or is it actual bulk we are looking to add to the diet? I am currently slowley taking kibble out of the dish for Garrison to get him eating the canned again.

Oh, that's cool I know how frustrating it can be, I'm glad that you're willing to go slow and easy. I'm really good with that The ground rabbit that I used was only available up here. She sells to the greater Toronto area and some smaller places just outside that way she doesn't have huge shipping costs (the thing that really kills a lot people trying to buy these products ) That's great that you have some place that you can get rabbit from...I'm still searching for a constant supplier. I can get whole rabbit easily enough (hugely expensive but available) I get slippery elm in powder form from a local bulk food/health food store. I've heard that it's easier to get in capsul format...I'm not sure what the break down of that is but, one of my students was using it I will check back through her posts and see if I can find it. She was only able to find capsuls....I think she used 1 cup of water to a capsul but I will find out for sure. I don't know anything about benefiber, what's in it? Good luck with Garrison, I hope it works. I will check in with you tomorrow ciao

Wheat dextrin in the benefiber. That's it. Well wouldn't that be just as bad as feeding them a wheat based kibble then? Guess my idea wasn't that great. . .
I hear you on the shipping. Shipping to WI in the US here I find I would pay nearly the same as the mice/ratsicles they have at Petco here. I try to use local sources anyway, but I get uncomfortable if I cannot pick it up myself from a factory or vendor.
I typically am not online during the weekend so I'll check back Monday. Hope your weekend goes well. Again send my best wishes to Maria and her little one. . .
