Well I am back with a few concerns.
My mom had been taking care of Bonsai while I was gone and I told her "Half a hand full in the morning and another at night, 3-4 hours of play yada yada" and when I get back Bonsai is like..well Fat! My mom had been feeding her only Marshalls (I put 3/4 Zupreem, 1/4 Marshalls now) and only letting her out 2 hours. Is it just that she's growing..or what? She also smells ALOT more.
I was playing with her like usual just a few minutes ago, and usually when we play chase, I'll put her favorite toy on top of her box and she'll jump up and get the toy, this time it took her 4-6 tries to get up on the box

She is relatively young so yes they can just sprout all of the sudden, though when you said your mom fed more marshals than usual then this can also contribute to the weight gain as well. I actually had a weight issue with my Boomer when he was on marshals only (until I switched to Innova Evo then to raw) he actually was clinically overweight he looked like a bowling pin Either of these could be the cause although there no cause for concern, obviously its better to be overweight than underweight (especially for a ferret). She will begin to slim down and tone up when shes on raw more (thats what happened to Boomer). Its funny that you mentioned it took a couple times more than usual to jump up and get her toy since I went through the same thing with Boomer within a couple days of gaining weight he couldnt get up onto my bed anymore and my other 2 would be looking down at him like "whats wrong" lol So no need to worry right now, its normal for them to sometimes gain weight like that on kibble, but like I said when she gets on raw more her body will restore her proper size and muscle tone! *just a suggestion/info/opinion....my vet told me that marshals was the absolute worst food to feed since it can make some ferrets gain unnessesary weight like that, she said its from all the fillers and byproducts in the kibble, which is why I switched to Innova Evo before I knew about raw. But since your already into the switch theres no reason to switch to any other, just keep up on more and more raw! Any new progress on her trying raw?

Not quite yet, I'm defrosting some ground beef, and I'm going to try mixing it 50-50 into her kibble.
*Snaps fingers* Drat! I was at petsmart the other day, I could have gotten the soupy. I forgot hehe.
But yeah, I'm trying that for now.

Well she didn't eat it, she dug around the meat and ate the kibble.

My babies did the same thing, which is why I then added a alittle bit of water in with kibble and ground meat so the meat really stuck on the kibble...sometimes I would have to drench both into almost a thick soup. So maybe try this and let me know what happens.
**Also, I forgot! I also did this when I had stubborn eaters.... mix together in a blender: ground chicken 1 raw egg a handful of kibble
After you puree this mixture pour it over the days kibble (you can stir it in as well to get it mixed up well), let it soak in for about 15-20 min then leave out to eat.
Even though she may not eat it for hours (dont panic) USUALLY ferrets will get so hungry they WILL try it, if she doesnt eat for over 10 hours then do put out some normal kibble...then the next feeding, try using a little less soup mixed in.
Let me know how this goes if you try it....if she takes to it, you can advance on quicker to more raw and less kibble. (the next step would be ground meat with crushed kibble mixed in, then on to small chunks rolled in finely crushed kibble) *this is easier and faster (imo) because I used this with my little Mimi (since I got her after my first 2) and she took to this right off the bat and her switch literally took only a month if that!
These are just some suggestions so let me know what you want to do, or if you want to try any other ways.

I'll give that a try soon, and I left the kibble dry so that may also have been why haha.
I don't really know many switching methods..so I don't really know which way to go

I didnt either when I first started, there are a few different mothods out there....mainly if a ferret rufuses one then go to the next and so on....so try any of them that I named (unless you dont want to, which is y I asked if your ok with the methods i mentioned) (some people are squimish to certain ways to prepare meat so I wanted to make sure your comfortable lol ....some may not like the idea of blending meat in a blender haha! so try these and let me know if any work out, and until then I will educate myself on more ways *just in case* Good Luck!!!

On another note I found her approximate weight, I weighed her like you would a dog; weigh your self then weigh your self carrying the animal. I got..2.4 lb I could be wrong but that's the number I got.
And I'm ok with blending meat, I'd blend a mouse if I had to lol. Even though..we need to get a new blender the last one broke when I made the soupy. I'm good with cutting up any kind of meat so that's not much of a problem for me.
The only method I can think of right now is slowly adding meat into her food...but I don't really know what kind and all the tricks to get her to eat it and such.

(imo) I got the magic bullet blender, ya know the one that always used to be on commercials LOL....well I got it ( specifically for blending ferret meats and such) and I find it works great! And it was only around $30 for all these cups and tops and such, its like no mess, you blend in a cup then you can also put a cap on it and put it in the fridge for another day!!! I love it, if you cant tell Usually starting out with chicken is the easiest way to go since its pretty bland in terms of "starting off meat" and its more readily liked in the beginning...Usually...not always, another good one thats just like chicken is turkey, my babies LOVE chicken and turkey!!! I would suggest you try the kibble mixed with a little ground (chicken or turkey) and a touch of water to make it stick. If this doesnt work and she turns her nose up to it, let me know and Im thinking we should try the puree mixure next. **another thing I forgot to mention**(I have a bad memory I think... lol) I used uncle jims duk soup powder mix and sprinkled it in with the raw and they took to it much more, since ferrets go crazy over that stuff ! so if you have some I would mix it in! If you don't, you can get it at usually any big chain pet store, though I prefer to order it online when I have a large shopping cart, since its cheaper (I buy in bulk of vivify oil, dehydrated liver and duck treats so when Im getting a shipment i usually add a couple packs of the duk soup.

ok well whenever you get meat then let me know how it goes. *(just a thought) if your unable to go to the grocery store often, when you go I usually buy in bulk...just in case... so just (if you want) get a couple packages of ground meat (maybe like turkey or chicken, or both) and divide it into baggies (the small sandwich ones) and freeze them for later use....this is what I do just in case ur interested! you may want to try to get some of that duk soup as well (imo....I have found its easier to get them to "taste" the new food when you sprinkle or mix some of this mix in with the food
