OMG....my guys were green with envy before, now they're so envious of your little dudes. Fun-Go B. Squiggly is on his way That is so gorgeous, Marie. I've often thought my guys would love something like that but have never even tried to make them their own running stream and ponds. You have offered them such a wonderful play area, to be just what they are. ciao

OMG. I am insanely jealous. That is absolutly BEAUTIFUL!!! I cant wait until we finally move to a new house. One of my first projects is going to be an outdoor enclosure for my weasel boys. Do your ferts actually go swimming on their own? Im not sure either of my boys would willingly go into water

Thank you Chelsea, yes they do go into the water on their own. But I've found that they prefer to play and particularly swim in the water at dusk or after dark. Sometimes when I come out to feed them in the evening they are all wet They sometimes play during the day and I was near ecstatic when Disa suddenly decided to go for a swim while I was out there with a camera (she's the one in the pics) Otherwise they are usually so very active and quick when they play in the water that my old camera can't really capture it if I'm lucky to be there with them at the time. Some of the ferrets where very shy of the water at first, but I've designed the pond to be inviting, have easy access and plenty of shallow areas for those that don't enjoy to take a full plunge. For the really water shy ferts one can make a beach with fine sand, that will probably attract and amuse even the most shy.

Wow first off, both Koda and I are VERY jealous! I think you might just have THE most spoiled ferrets in the world! Secondly, those stones are beautiful! I too want to know how you etched them. How long did each one take you?

Thanks hurricanekatt, I use a Dremel engraver, see the post above The stone with the paw prints took about 20-30 min to do and the other one about 45-60 min.
