I finally got my camera figured out again and was able to post the videos! Sorry for the shaky quality. I was trying to video and control Koda and keep him in the screen and keep up with him. I will try to get a better video later. Enjoy!

I'm really surprised at how fast he got his mice, even though he was being held by the lead! Quick boy there And you are such a mean mamma, filling in his hole on him! He was some upset with that, wasn't he?

Very good, but can he catch them if they had a 9 mile head start? Pick up their trail a little? Honestly nobody in the c. word limits would let me practice that(city). But their are Fields, and soon a germinate summer vacation! by the way, whats the farthest they ever been chased? Any get away?

I noticed that too 1. lol I think a lot of it has to do with domestic breeding and loss of wild instincts. Or maybe they try to stay still in hopes that they will not be seen? But some of them - the dark one in this video particularly - seem to just sit and look around like "hmmm....I almost got eaten...oh look! what is this green stuff? Maybe I should smell it...then perhaps I will clean my face..." Sherrylynn: yes he is very fast. I thought that they were all that fast though? And to think that these videos were actually kind of slow compared to his first outdoor kill when he caught it mid air as it leapt to escape him. Oh how I wish I had caught that on tape! haha He is quite the litter hunter, I am very proud. I did notice his outdoor kills seemed faster than in the tub (though I haven't done a tub hunt in a while thanks to my freezer full of frozen rodents lol). Perhaps the great outdoors kicked in those hunting instincts at a higher decibel?

Quite likely! Or the very real possibility of his dinner getting away
