I've been trying to stick with treats that re from the US for a couple of reasons.. 1. My job was off-shored, and I still haven't recovered from it. 2. The US economy stinks right now and will continue to do so for a while. So for these reasons, I'm supporting US products where I have a choice - it's just a quirky personal commitment that makes me feel more "in control" (Ha!!!) since I've been affected by all the changes. I don't know the policies/standards other countries may have with regard to pet foods. But I hear that POgOs are popular treats- all natural, and ferrets really like them! -jennifer

I know quite a few people who make jerky and other treats for their pets and themselve using dehydrators....this works very well if you have the time to do it.
So, I don't think the dehydrator qualifies as a "gadget" - it's a work-horse!!! (I love kitchen stuff too!)
